  26. A Quick Starter
  27. ===============
  28. Open the package into a floppy in either drive A or B, or into a dedicated
  29. directory on the hard drive, preferably C:\IV. Login to the floppy drive, or
  30. into the directory on the HD and run INSTALL/FAST. InVircible will install
  31. itself with the default settings in directory C:\IV. A search path to C:\IV
  32. will be added in the AUTOEXEC as well as the commands IVINIT and IVB DAILY.
  33. InVircible will run these test on subsequent bootings.
  34.  
  35. It is highly recommended to prepare a ResQdiskette immediately after the
  36. installation of InVircible. Insert a formatted floppy (720K/1.2M or 1.44M)
  37. in drive A, go to InVircible's directory and run INSTALL/R. A search path
  38. should exist to the SYS.COM file (usually in the C:\DOS directory).
  39.  
  40. For quick familiarization run IVMENU and press F1 to open the on-line
  41. hypertext help.

  43. Registration and Licensing
  44. ==========================
  45. InVircible in its non-registered mode is freeware to the private user,
  46. and may be used at no charge, provided the PC on which InVircible is
  47. installed does not serve for business or profit.
  48.  
  49. Businesses, corporate, administration and institutional users are accorded
  50. a 30 day "try before you buy" evaluation period. After which they are
  51. requested either to purchase a site license to continue using InVircible,
  52. or remove all copies of InVircible, sentry included, from their computers
  53. and network servers.

  55. On-line registration is available by calling 1-800-NO VIRUS
  56.  
  57. Downloading InVircible from the customer support BBS
  58. ====================================================
  59. InVircible is regularly uploaded by the authors for downloading through our
  60. customer support bulletin board by dialing 206-277-4018, modem settings
  61. 8-N-1. The BBS is RoboBoard/FX so you may want to download the free
  62. graphical terminal software. It will increase your enjoyment of the
  63. board a lot.  Have fun and we look forward to seeing you their.
